Bioinformatics and Computational Biology Working Group

The Research Centers in Minority Institutions Translational Research Network (RTRN) offers unique opportunities for collaboration and information sharing in a way that not only supports but will establish new methods of translational research. The RTRN Bioinformatics and Computational Biology Working Group has been formed to pursue the following aims:

  • To access ongoing research and educational projects that require bioinformatics, computational biology or medical informatics

  • To facilitate computational and bioinformatics resources across the RCMI sites to support RTRN projects as needed

  • To establish and launch multi-institutional computational-based research collaborative projects.

  • To establish a portal with links to computer programs and tools available at RCMI sites.

Co-Leads for RTRN Bioinformatics and Computational Biology Working Group
