Thirty-three investigators and their collaborators from 17 of the 18 RCMI grantee institutions submitted applications to the RTRN Research Core on May 2, 2011.  Applications were reviewed by two or more experts, using standard NIH criteria, and were ranked according to priority scores by the Protocol Review Subcommittee.  RTRN and the Data and Technology Coordinating Center will provide support for these new  awardees and past awardees, as they generate preliminary data in preparation of grant applications for submission to NIH and other funding agencies.
