RTRN Steering Committee
The RTRN Steering Committee serves as the main decision-making body
of the cooperative network. The Steering Committee is charged with
establishing the procedures for the overall function of the network.
The Steering Committee consists of 12 to 18 members including the
RTRN PI; representative RCMI Clinical Research Center Principal
Investigators and/or Program Directors; the PI and Program Director
of the DTCC; NCRR Program Officials; and other steering committee
appointees. All members are expected to actively participate in
Steering Committee activities.
The Steering Committee is responsible for facilitating the conduct
of the clinical and translational studies, promoting trans-Center
collaboration, establishing and updating the content of the web
resource site, and establishing procedures for reporting results of
Center studies. The Steering Committee also develops procedures for
reviewing proposals for pilot projects.
