deploy and support our research sites in the use of both
clinical and collaborative tools to enhance their

Our team provides oversight
and direction to researchers desiring to utilize the
RTRN secure and private network as well as open source
tools that available across the scientific community.
Data Security
The
privacy and security of our data and compliance with
HIPAA and FDA regulations are a priority for the DTCC.
All data are held in a secure and protected
centralized system.
Our data is stored under rigorous security
control measures which firewalls, user identification
and password protected access to information. Only
authorized
study-specific team members are able to access data and
information.
Secure Portal System
The
division of Information Security and Technology
Integration (ISTI) manages the RTRN secure portal
powered by Oracle 10g infrastructure.
It provides access to collaborator and clinical
tools to support multi-site research.
The portal offers a suite of real-time
collaboration, communication and content management
applications in a secure, scalable environment to
facilitate collaborative research across the RTRN
community.
